At the start of the year I got a call from Alyse Vellturo, owner of my label Sleep Well Records, saying that she had just gotten off the phone with Japanese Wallpaper — and that he had been raving about how much he loves my track Together! I honestly almost dropped my phone, it felt so surreal. Fast forward a few months and Japanese Wallpaper has created the most incredible remix of the track, with everything wild going on in the world at the moment it's one of the few things that's guaranteed to make me smile. I love it a lot. I hope it makes you smile as well <3

lyrics
I just want to lie on the floor,
Next to you, with the curtains pulled,
And your favourite CD on,
Trace my palms with your fingertips,
And tell me how they broke your heart.
Watch the light that bleeds from the edge
of the window start to fade,
and the arpeggiator runs on,
and the prosecco runs dry,
and the drum hits in time with your heartbeat.
Do me a favour, please,
Rest your head on my shoulder,
And I'll rest mine on yours,
And we can forget about the future,
Forget the future together ,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Forget the future together.

Impossibly endearing — I can't wait for Elsie's new EP! As an Adelaide kid originally I can't help but project every childhood memory of friends and family on to this one. So beautiful. Wolfjay
I'm very excited for this new record from Braille Face, the first taste of it 'Original Cast Recording' has made me cry a few times during lockdown. Feels like a warm embrace from someone I can't see Wolfjay
Last year after I moved to Melbourne I went to a Bad Apples label show in a park in the northern suburbs and it was just the most perfect thing. This album reminds me of that show. I love it a lot. Wolfjay
