For every night you've driven through the hills at midnight, heater turned up to 10, listening to Bon Iver, hand in hand, phone turned off, not caring about where you're headed, or how far you are, only that you're there together.
lyrics
I’m terrified of what I might become,
If I don’t learn who I am,
Stretching the truth for far too long,
I’m sure it’s bound to snap,
I want to lie in a bed of honesty,
I want to lie about nothing else again,
Let my word mean everything to you,
I want to be honest, and gentle, and true,
Cos I exaggerate the facts,
When I don’t feel like I’m enough for you,
So wrap your arms around me,
Whisper one and only.
Cos I’m sick of lying to you,
Embellishing the facts,
Selling it as truth,
This is everything I’ve ever felt for you
This is the truth
I want to lie in a bed of honesty,
I want to lie about nothing else again,
Let me word mean everything to you,
I want to be genuine, and honest, and true
Cos I exaggerate the facts,
When I don’t feel like I’m enough for you,
So wrap your arms around me,
Whisper one and only.

Impossibly endearing — I can't wait for Elsie's new EP! As an Adelaide kid originally I can't help but project every childhood memory of friends and family on to this one. So beautiful. Wolfjay
I'm very excited for this new record from Braille Face, the first taste of it 'Original Cast Recording' has made me cry a few times during lockdown. Feels like a warm embrace from someone I can't see Wolfjay
Last year after I moved to Melbourne I went to a Bad Apples label show in a park in the northern suburbs and it was just the most perfect thing. This album reminds me of that show. I love it a lot. Wolfjay
